RTA Credit Card review
The headline rate is 10% cashback on both RTA transport payments and fuel, followed by 2.25% on international spend, 1.25% domestically, 1% on groceries and smaller percentages across dining, automobiles, education and telecom. Earning requires a minimum AED 1,000 retail spend per statement cycle from 1 March 2025, and cash advances, balance transfers, bill payments and crypto are excluded.
A built-in Nol chip lets the card double as a transit and parking payment tool, while cardholders also receive two complimentary cinema tickets monthly on AED 3,000 spend, extended warranty, purchase protection and up to four supplementary cards. Points expire after two years, with a 300-point minimum to redeem.
With no annual fee and RTA and fuel cashback each capped at AED 75 a month, the card delivers clear value to regular Dubai commuters, though heavy spenders will hit those monthly transport and fuel caps quickly.
