This page explains, in simple words, how DBR Calculator handles your information across all of our tools: the DBR Calculator, the Loan EMI Calculator and the Loan Planner. If you have any question, email us at [email protected].

The short version

You do not need to sign up to use the tools. The numbers you type into the DBR Calculator, the Loan EMI Calculator and the Loan Planner stay in your browser. We never see them, and we do not store them on our servers, unless you choose to save them to a free account (see below).

What we save on your device

To make the tools easier to use, we save your settings, like your currency, DBR limit and language, in your browser's local storage. The Loan Planner uses the same saved settings. This all stays on your own device, and you can clear it any time.

If you create an account

You can optionally create a free account to save your calculations and buyout plans, email them to yourself or download them as a PDF. If you do, we store your email address and only the calculations you choose to save, so you can open them again when you sign in. We never sell this data. You can change your details, or permanently delete your account and everything in it, at any time from your My Account page. If you do not create an account, nothing you type is sent to us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It uses cookies and may collect general details like your country, device type and browser. It does not tell us who you are. You can read more on our Cookies page.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone for marketing.

Links to other websites

Our site may link to banks or other websites. We are not responsible for how they handle your data, so please read their privacy policies too.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
